Senior Data Analyst

Job description per

The candidate we are looking for:

• will be responsible for the data analysis and visualization activities to create business insights and advocate improvements in Sacmi Group Finance, Accounting and Business Units.
• will manage the IT team of junior data analysts and developers to design BI solutions and to help users take the correct action, and ultimately facilitate a culture within an organization that views data as a competitive asset.

Percorso formativo

The ideal candidate has a degree in Mathematics, Engineering or an equivalent STEM degree and has more than 5 years of experience roles in IT data analysis, developed in structured and international contexts, in industrial or consulting environments.

Skills candidato

Must have

• Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data
• Knowledge of programming languages like Transact SQL, R and/or Python
• Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing
• Adept at using data processing platforms like Hadoop, Apache Spark and Azure ML
• Knowledge of  at least one data visualization software like Power BI, Tableau and Qlik
• Knowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets in order to find solutions
• Problem-solving skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
• Team-working skills
• Verbal and Written communication skills
• Proven working experience in data analysis

Nice to have

• Experience in handling reporting packages like SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), Business Objects, programming (Javascript, XML, or ETL frameworks), databases
• Expertise in interfacing techniques between core SAP ERP and BW, Salesforce CRM, Cornerstone HR tools and analysis applications
• Knowledge of database query languages like Oracle, MongoDB
